More to Life Ministries International is an Evangelical Letter Correspondence, Gospel-Out-Reach Ministry, which seeks to share the good news of Jesus Christ through the medium of a written text or sermon being sent to individuals through the post and person to person.

It seeks to present and to up-hold the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  To  inform, to warn, to instruct and to teach men so through the leading and power of the Holy Spirit.

We have also extended our mission so as to provide Worship Services on Sundays and a Bible study period during the week.  Please find below our worship services information.  These services offered includes everyone, so please do not hesitate to visit us at any time.  We are a committed group that seek to accomplish all of these missions through the great commission of Jesus Christ as stated in Matthew 28: 18-20:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,   and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

WHAT IS MORE TO LIFE MINISTRIES  INTERNATIONAL?

More to Life Ministry is an evangelical gospel-out-reach ministry, which seeks to share the good news of Jesus Christ through the medium of a written text or sermon being sent out to individuals through the post.  It seeks to present and to up-hold the truth of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, both through  the living Word and in Gospel songs as the Lord leads.  We do this so as to fulfil the great commission of Jesus Christ to a dying world.   It further seeks to declare certain basic facts or truths of the Bible which are not being taken seriously, or it is true that certain basic truths are not really known, being taken by many as myths or fairy tales of long ago.

The core or most essential point is that our future  lies with God in regards to the return of Christ and meeting with him when he returns and this is very hard fact that is not considered by many.  Some  are  afraid to face this fact, while others simply prefer their sinful lives and flatly refuse to know anything in that regard, or wanting to change.  Their behaviour is as though, their refusal will change scene or their future status with Christ.  Some people even believe that they can choose to be present or not to answer to the deeds of their past lives.  They will tell you:  I don’t want to return or to be there, while others are simply expecting a miracle; they’d say: “ No one knows who will get to heaven,“ or “ The priest and the church I attend will take care of that, etc.“

7 Outstanding facts that must be made clear

The authority of God Almighty, the only

Eternal God Jehovah that:

1. God still exists.
2. He is alive and well.
3. That Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and will continue to remain the same.
4. It must be known that God’s word will never change.
5. He is in control of his creation, which includes man and that He is always capable of doing all that he has promised and will do so in his own time.
6. People must know that there are certain rules and guidelines to follow, which does not require man’s decision.
7. If man truly wants to get to heaven, then he will have to act or respond in accordance to God’s way and plan, not his way or plan.  God is God and certainly the Chief.  “ All rights reserved, by God.”  In the following Scriptures God revealed who he really is:

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.'” Exodus 3: 14

God further declares:

I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.  Revelation 22: 13,

There is no one, or nothing to be compared with God.

“God is God.”

This nation must realize that they have a destiny to face with “The true and living God.”

“And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.”

“Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”  Rev. 20: 12 & 15

The God of all other Gods and the King of all other Kings, at a set time and place known only to him.  A destiny that no door can be closed on, as it is a reality and therefore will happen with or without the consent of man.  “ All rights reserved, by God.”  Yes, this generation must know that there is coming a day of reckoning and all, including those who have died will return by his power, and will stand before him to be judged, as all must give an account for all the things that they have done in the body, while here on earth.  The idea of escaping or of making compromises will be utterly impossible, as there will be no place to hide, or room for compromises.  The time for man and his reconciliation with God is now, today.  In the Word we read:  “ Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts. ”  Hebrews 3: 15

More to Life Ministries and its partner’s intention, however, endeavours to remind the people generally, to inform them, to instruct and to warn the nations as much as lies in its powers, of these great truths, which has nothing to do with which religion one may, or may not belong, but has everything to do with man’s direct relationship with God.

WHAT ABOUT FAITH?

“TO HAVE FAITH IS TO BE SURE OF THE THINGS WE HOPE FOR, TO BE CERTAIN OF THE THINGS WE CANNOT SEE.  IT WAS BY THEIR FAITH THAT PEOPLE OF ANCIENT TIMES WON GOD’S APPROVAL.“ Hebrews 11: 1-2

“Faith without work is dead !
SHOW ME YOUR WORK AND I SHOW YOU FAITH.“ James 2: 17-18

More to Life Ministries Int. is a ministry that is founded upon the promises of God, which deals with the method of using “ The Word of God ” as seeds.  In the Bible we read that the word of God is like a seed, when it is spoken, it is like something being planted.  It has the same character as that of a seed being planted in a garden.  This shows the obvious truth that life is in the Word.  The word is what effect the changes and then the cleansing of the heart of man, turning him around giving him the power to overcome sin, death and hell; therefore giving him the chance of having life eternal through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

We read the word of God: 

“ My word is like the snow and the rain that come down from the sky to water the earth.  They make the crops grow and provide seed for sowing and food to eat.  So also will be the word that I speak- It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:  10 & 11

Furthermore, “ The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double–edged sword.  It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come  together.  It judges the  desires and thoughts of man’s heart.”  Hebrews 4: 12.

These promises and others like these are the very life-blood and energy of the ministries of MORE TO LIFE MINISTRIES INT.  

THE BIRTH OF

MORE TO LIFE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

More to Life Ministries started here in Switzerland January 19, 1999.  It gave birth after recognising the spiritual needs of the people as a nation and their individual needs for Christ Jesus as Saviour and Lord of their lives.  The birth came about after many promptings of the Holy Spirit, many convictions through the preaching of the word and of personal messages coming through from God’s servants including dreams or visions I have had from the Lord.  The second to the last vision that got me started then, was this vision, in which He showed me a long line of soldiers, seems without ending, marching.  They were all dressed-up in silver metal along with their swords, well positioned, prepared for war.  After the first three approached, according to where we were standing, the Lord said to me:  “ And we have not much time left.”   The last vision was like the send off to start this ministry.  So after having the basic office requirements necessary to start this Ministry, I went back to the Lord to ask him when I should actually start.

The Dream/Vision  that changed my world.
He then used my former Pastor who is affectionately called, Rev. Bud to inform me of the start. In the dream Rev. Bud pointed me to a very tall massive tree, that was situated immediately at the front door of our church building (ICL) in the vision.  He then said to me:

“ Fix the candles properly.”  From the outside of the tree, the candles were not readily visible, as the tree was full of a variety of other lights on the outside, but was dark on the inside.  After taking a second searching look, however, it was all too clear, what the problem was.  The Candles and Candle-holders were present but were all separated from one another.  This was the strangest part of the vision, as the candles and the candle-holders were attached to the tree, but were not connected in order to have light.  I knew then that the Lord was answering my question.

He was then saying, in other words “ Go now and connect people to me.”  I woke up that morning under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, realizing what I had to do.   The power of the Holy Spirit could be felt and I was just praising his name endlessly.  Food that day was not in question, as I was not hungry,  all that was important then was to get busy with the work of the Lord.  It was not easy, especially when you need to start with your immediate neighbours, but the Lord was with me, and of course, the work belongs to him.

We are like mediums through which he works.  In fact I went knocking on the doors of my neighbours, handing them the word personally.  Can you imagine yourself being a foreigner in a strange land with  people of different languages and cultures; not forgetting the kind of society of the day to share the gospel of Jesus Christ?  There was not another day in my life like that day.  One that is certainly unforgettable.  It was a situation you could well describe as:  “Now it’s Jesus and me.

God has not only allowed the birth of More to Life Ministries, but has also given me a new birth and the privilege of sharing in this Great Harvest Field as his servant.

The experience of his calling and the dedication one would have to make during this time is actually like a 360 degree turn around, ones that are indescribable and certainly unforgettable.  To describe it I would say that:  The calling of God has such compelling power that it leaves you with no doubt of what He wants you to do,  A feeling of being indebted, Being responsible; a sense of being in a very uncomfortable atmosphere, or state of mind.  A feeling of guilt if you fail to accept the call, Carrying a burden around, Everything seems wrong if otherwise.  The first recognition of God’s calling on my life was known to me from the early age of about thirteen.  I knew the call of the Lord and His desire for me to serve him in his in His service as written below.

FIRST VISION AND REALIZATION

OF GOD’S CALL.
“The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: To whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.  Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.  But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.  Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.  Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.“  Jeremiah 1:1-9 (KJV)

God gave me a vision of His calling for my life, the same call as Jeremiah had in his time.  There was a man who appeared to me as I slept and he read to me from the book of Jeremiah 1: 1-9.

I dreamt that as he was reading these awesome verses I started to cry uncontrollably.   I finally woke and to my amazement, I realized that my crying was real, as I had tears still on my face and still in the mood of crying.  Immediately after the vision I got up with a start that morning, remembering everything as it was in the vision.  I took my Bible as quickly as I could to search for a book with chapter and verses I had never read in my life before.

I was then a young Christian in my faith, starting at the age of nearly twelve years old, so I had a very limited knowledge then about the Bible.   I searched for that book, found the passage, read it and was totally finished.  I was in tears after reading it, mainly because of the meaning and the awesomeness it carries, including the presence of the Holy Spirit, which could be felt so strongly.  With tear-stained eyes, I went to my mother and shared it with her.  She looked at me thoughtfully with tears in her eyes, having more questions than answers, as I remembered.  She could not find words to say what she felt, as she too was overcome with its awesomeness.

In that moment I found myself telling her that, if I never have anything to give to her in this life, then she would know why, as I am not for her, but for the Lord.  This I told her very thoughtfully without any premeditation.  I was shocked at those words myself, thinking it over, but that’s what I remember telling her.  The rest of that week was spent in tears and prayers in the presence of the Lord.  I have had since then other such experiences, as mentioned above, but his planning and timing was known only to him.  With the age of nineteen I went to Bible college in Jamaica, Bethel Bible College, where I was qualified in Christian Services and Theology.  After being in Switzerland for a while, it was like a new fire being revived in me, a fire I had known before.  I knew then that it was time to get really busy for the Lord.  Looking back, I do believe that God in His wisdom and knowledge does have a time and a place and the know-how to deal with us so as to bring about that kind of wholesomeness he wants to see in us for his glory.

THE FUNCTION OF MORE TO LIFE MINISTRIES INT.

The work of More to Life Ministries International is as mentioned above.  It is a work that is done through the “Post and Person to Person” at this time, but will certainly broaden its channel through other possible means of publication as they become available.  This work is now done every two months, contacting people all over Switzerland, touching lives with the word of God, as he sees it fit.  The names chosen for each contact are being done prayerfully, so as to make sure that the people being contacted are those whose hearts are somehow prepared for the message coming through to them.  A “CD Telephone Book” is being used as an aid in the search for these monthly contacts.
This ministry is one that is being blessed with voluntary workers such as Prayer Partners, Financial Supporters, Secretarial helpers and Translators into other languages, such as:  German, French and Italian.  These partners are not only here in Switzerland, but also in Jamaica, America, Canada and England, who pray for every effort made in this out-reach for souls.  This work encircles Switzerland at this time, but it is one that is open to the Lord for any other door he may want to open for this ministry.  His leading and directions are the very essence of our prayers.

A monthly circular is sent out to all the partners of More to Life Ministries International, giving them details of the places and amount of contacts made each month.  This is done so that they will know how to pray.  Our motto is to pray for everyone, including those who may find it necessary to return their text and those, of course,  are only a small minority.  We endeavour, however,  to put such responses very high on our list of priorities, as we know how much Jesus loves them and will be touching their lives with His blessings as we pray for them.  Partners also receive a monthly thought from the Word in general, by way of encouraging them in their Christian journey with Christ.

MORE TO LIFE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL FINANCIALLY

More to Life Ministries is a self-supporting ministry, meaning that it is being supported by the immediate partners of its network, including yours truly.  This ministry is actually being fed just as the birds of the air are being fed.  God has always been providing and supplying its needs.  If this ministry speaks to you, and you would love to support it with your prayers and financially as well?  Then please do not hesitate to do so, as the number of letters sent out each time are limited by the financial provision.  At the moment, More to Life Ministries Int. try to maintain a standard of contacting at least 350 people every two months, of which is a basis to work from.  It all started out with the first ten letters (10) per week, it then moved up to sixty (60) per month, then two hundred 200 every two month.  Now it is doing three hundred and fifty(350) letters every two months.

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”   Proverbs. 11. 30.

One should not forget that each person contacted could be a prospective Christian, a beautiful rose in the God’s great magnificient heavenly garden that could also lead millions from their side of the globe to Christ and so is the multiplication.   In the scriptures we read: “He that winneth a soul is wise.” Prov.11.30.   Giving your money for the right cause, could also mean for you the beginning of your financial blessings.  How can I make my deposits, you may ask?  Well that is already prepared for you.  You could simply make your financial deposits monthly, possibly by a monthly bank order, a cheque or otherwise to the account as written below.
